General:

This is the place for the SoCal robot builders want to get together and battle it out! Currently we can accommodate for 150 gram, 1lb and 3lb battling robots. We work in conjunction with other local robot organizations to better strengthen our SoCal Community. Feel free to search us on youtube to watch some of our past fights!

Event Details:

There will be food and refreshments onsite as well as live entertainment. We will be hosting a small builder after party when the event is over. This event will go on rain or shine. So come and be a part of SoCals growing bot-building communityand let’s show these Angelinos what robot combat is all about!

COVID Considerations:

Covid-19 Restrictions: In accordance with Los Angeles Public safety guidelines, we are asking all attendants to show proof of vaccination upon entry OR a negative PCR test within 72 hours. Feel free if you choose to wear a mask. We want everyone to feel as safe as possible to make this event happen.

Weight Classes:

There will be a $10 Registration Fee per team PayPal payable to: poppinbeans@gmail.com or Cash the day of the event.

Prizes: 

Cash prize for all first place winners!

Schedule:

• 9:00am – 11:000am – Check-in and Weigh-ins
• 11:00am – 11:15am Competitor Meeting
• 11:15am – Fights Begin!
• 9:00pm – End of Event

Volunteers:

We are still looking for a few volunteers if any one is interested in the following positions: * Judging * Bot Cue * Runners * Build/ Break Down * Announcer for Fairy /Plastic Arena

Arena and Hazards:

There will be 3 battle boxes to accommodate all the weight-classes comfortably.

Pits:

There will be a small indoor pit area with power and work space. We are adding the option to pit outside if you feel more comfortable to do so. Feel free to bring EZ-Ups, tables, extension cords, power strips, etc…you know the drill.

Spectating:
