Banebots T61 Hubs

We’ve been running Banebots wheels in our beetleweight combat bots for years. And you’ve been happy with them. But there were gaps in the product line- smaller wheels were either nonexistent, or impossible to get.

At long, long last, we’re absolutely THRILLED to announce, as part of our Banebots partnership, that we’re solving that problem! Announcing the T61 line of wheels and hubs. Now available in six wheel hardnesses, 4 wheel diameters, and 4 hub shaft sizes. Tired of foamies that get chewed up quickly? want something harder or grippier? These Banebots T61 hubs have the classic Banebots’ wheel/hub design. They mount 1 BaneBots T61 Wheel to the appropriate shaft.

These are zero clearance hubs with no portion of the hub extending beyond the width of the wheel. This allows for mounting the wheels close to other objects as well as mounting multiple wheels side by side with no space between them. The hubs provide a close tolerance fit, eliminating the wobble or slop found in many molded wheels. They provide excellent torque transfer from the hub to the wheel and provides room for a set screw to secure the hub to a shaft.

The two included set screws are located 90 degrees apart and are used to securely fasten the hub to a shaft.

The wheel is fastened to the hub using a standard 3/8 inch snap ring allowing for the easy mounting and changing of wheels.
