At just a couple of grams, the FlySky FS2A 4CH AFHDS-2A Mini Compatible Receiver is perfect for small combat bots! It will fit just about anywhere and has proven reliable in combat for years. This will work with Flysky FS-i6, TGY-i6, and most other modern FlySky radios. It also binds with all 4-in-1 or multiprotocol radios (like the Zorro and many other Radiomaster models), just choose FlySky AFHDS-2A as the protocol.

Failsafe Setup and Binding

Basic Binding Instructions:

  1. Press and hold the key on the receiver and connect the power to the receiver. The blue light on the receiver will flash, indicating you are getting into bind mode.
  2. Follow the instructions on your transmitter to set the transmitter to bind mode (confirm AFHDS 2A protocol if required). After getting into bind mode with the transmitter, the receiver light will change from flashing to slow flash.
  3. Once the transmitter has successfully bound to the receiver, the receiver blue light becomes bright, indicating that the signal receive has been successful.

Once you’ve bound your transmitter to this little guy, you’ll be controlling your bot in no time!

To set failsafe behavior, once a transmitter is bound, just hold the button again for a few seconds while sending the signals you want to happen when the radio loses connection. The blue light will flash quickly several times and then remain constant and bright, indicating the failsafe setting has been successful.
