Fits More Than SSP 2.0
These wheels were designed for the SSP 2.0 kit, but they should also fit SSP 1.0 frames. You can also use them for your own custom beetle design — anywhere you need a compact front wheel with a TPU core. The sport has discovered that LEGO tires can give greater grip and better performance, so ItGresa and Just Cuz are happy to support this trend.
What’s Included — and What Isn’t
Each set includes 2 front wheels with TPU cores. Bushings are not included. If your design requires aluminum bushings for 4mm shafts, you’ll need to source those separately. Exact weight may vary by batch.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will these fit my SSP 1.0 kit?
They should. The SSP 2.0 wheel geometry is compatible with SSP 1.0 frames, but Just Cuz Robotics notes this as a "should fit" rather than a guaranteed spec.
We do still sell the 1.0 cast wheels, while supplies last.
Why aren't bushings included?
Just Cuz Robotics sells the front wheel set without bushings to keep the cost down and give builders flexibility. If your design uses 4mm shafts and requires aluminum bushings, you'll need to source those separately.
Why LEGO® tires?
The combat robotics community has been gravitating toward LEGO tires for their grip characteristics and consistent geometry. Just Cuz Robotics designed the SSP 2.0 around this format — and builders are finding the performance backs it up.
Can I use these on a custom build?
Yes. The wheels aren't SSP-exclusive — anywhere you need a compact front wheel with LEGO tires and a TPU core, these work. Just account for the 43.2mm diameter and 14.0mm width in your design.
Can I print my own cores and cast my own tires?
Yes — Just Cuz Robotics has a tutorial that walks you through exactly that. Watch the wheel-building tutorial on YouTube.
