Pre-Tuned for Weapon Performance
Most ESCs ship with firmware tuned for smooth throttle response in drone or aircraft applications. Is this ESC really pre-tuned, or do I need to configure it myself?
It ships pre-tuned by Repeat Robotics for antweight weapon use — higher startup power and faster spinup are already dialed in. You don’t need to touch the firmware to run it in a Scalar or similar antweight build. That said, BLHeli_S is fully configurable via BLHeli Suite if you want to tweak settings for a different motor or application.
Is BLHeli_S the same as BLHeli_32? I heard BLHeli_32 is being discontinued.
