Repeat Robotics Plug-and-Play Dual Brushed ESC (DESC)
Plug-and-Play Convenience
No soldering, no hassle! If you don’t have time for wiring—or the tools to do it—our Repeat Plug-and-Play Dual Brushed ESC is built for you.
This ready-to-run ESC comes pre-wired to just “plug in.” Pair it with our Repeat Plug-and-Play 16mm brushed motors and the Saifu wiring harness, and your drivetrain simply clicks together. Includes XT30 connectors for the ESC and battery, 2mm gold-plated motor bullets, and a standard 3-pin receiver plug. Built on the proven Repeat Budget Ant DESC and professionally wired for clean, reliable installs. It’s the perfect option for your next brushed drive antweight robot!
$35.00
The Repeat Robotics Budget Ant DESC was developed to provide an affordable, robust drive ESC option for Repeat brushed drive motors or any other antweight-size brushed motor.
The Plug-and-Play version of the Repeat Robotics Ant DESC has been professionally pre-wired for rapid builds. We add an XT30 battery connector and 2mm bullet connectors on both motor outputs so it drops in with our Plug-and-Play Repeat brushed motors — no soldering required.
The Repeat DESC is a dual brushed speed controller with center braking and optional onboard mixing. Compact, lightweight, and tuned for antweight brushed drive, it’s designed for performance and reliability. With our wiring, setup is effortless: plug in the battery, plug in the motors, connect the receiver, and drive.
Ideal for builders who want reliable performance without the wiring hassle.
⚠️ Important Safety Disclaimer
WARNING: Repeat Drive Brushed motors operated at 4S cannot be stalled for an extended period. Doing so will overheat the motor and cause permanent damage. These ESCs do not have active current limiting. If a motor is stalled until failure, the FET driving that motor will also fail, permanently damaging the ESC. In that case, both the motor and ESC must be replaced.
Testing has shown damage can occur when stalling for as little as 7 seconds on 4S or 25 seconds on 3S. In every test, the motor failed before the ESC.
- Uses official Repeat Robotics dual brushed ESC (Budget Ant DESC) with added connectors
- Pre‑wired for plug‑and‑play: XT30 battery, 2mm motor bullets, 3‑pin RX plug
- Dual channels for left/right brushed drive
- Center braking for precise control
- Onboard mixing available (disabled by default)
- Ultra‑compact and lightweight for antweights
- Pairs perfectly with our Plug‑and‑Play Repeat brushed motors
- Failsafe behavior will stop motors when signal is lost

Does this come ready to use?
Yes. Battery, motors, and receiver all plug in directly — no soldering needed. If you want to direct solder, choose our less expensive Dual Brushed ESC.How do I enable onboard mixing?
Onboard mixing is disabled by default. If you prefer ESC mixing instead of transmitter mixing, enable mixing by cutting the jumper near the i on the back of the board. See diagram:
