The Scalar Weapon Kit equips your Repeat Robotics Scalar Antweight Combat Robot with a replacement horizontal spinner weapon system, supplying all necessary mechanical components except for the weapon motor, weapon hub, and shaft. The kit is a drop-in replacement, engineered for clean integration with the Scalar chassis weapon chain.

This horizontal spinner kit features a large 150mm diameter AR500 weapon blade and a proven belt-driven layout designed to limit shock transferred to the weapon motor, along with thrust bearings to minimize friction. The kit’s center-to-center spacing and hardware are optimized for common antweight motor sizes, making it easy to assemble.

Other motors may be used in custom designs, provided the builder calculates an appropriate KV for the blade mass and sizes the motor-to-pulley spacing accordingly. Repeat has spec’ed both a 2000kv and a 2400kv motor on the Scalar kit in the past.

Does this kit work with the Scalar chassis and frame?

Yes. The Scalar Weapon Kit is a drop in replacement, designed to integrate cleanly with the Scalar TPU chassis and the Scalar carbon fiber frame plates.

Are spare parts included?

Yes. Two weapon belts are included, with one spare belt provided for quick replacement after wear or damage.

This kit MUST be assembled and operated under adult supervision for children. The weapon system may also be adapted for custom robot designs, which typically requires original drawings or CAD work and additional engineering effort.
