WHAT ROBOTS Is this part compatible with?

Nutstrips are robot "building blocks" and as such are generally universally compatible.  Be mindful of your bot's weight, and make sure you have the proper space for the part.  These can be cut to length with any metal cutting device.

Yes. Many well known robot builders have used or are using nutstrips for their competition bot.

Do you recommend keeping spare maintenance parts?

Absolutely. Combat robotics is hard on components, and keeping common maintenance parts in your pit kit can be the difference between making the next match or sitting out. Many builders treat wear items as consumables. It's heartbreaking when your robot could fight but can't because you're missing a key part, and they're very economical, so make sure you have enough for the ring and your projects.

Note that nutstrips can provide a quick repair for a separated chassis or divided plate.
