The Saifu MicroBlock2 Nutstrip is a genuine Kitbots hardware component used throughout the Saifu chassis build to join mating parts at clean right angles. It ships as a single anodized aluminum block, sold individually. These are handy components for any robot where you want a right angle join and don’t have sufficient strength in the panels themselves.
Each block carries 4-40 threaded holes on a 1/4in spacing pattern, with two holes on one face and one on the other. That asymmetric layout is what lets the block tie two panels together at a right angle without needing a separate corner bracket.
On the stock Saifu 3 chassis, MicroBlock2 nutstrips are used at both the front bulkhead and the rear armor mount, so a rebuild or repair can easily call for more than one at a time. Builders restocking a full front bulkhead assembly should plan on seven blocks or more.
