Turnabot Fairyweight Bot Kit – Slipper
Have you or your kids been interested in Battlebots and combat robotics? Do your kids love battlebots? Smaller bots are easier to get started with. Antweights have more events, but Fairyweights (150g) are less destructive, easier to control, and frankly more fun for kids. A great way to get started into combat robotics!
Fairyweights can be a family affair and a great way to get kids interested in robotics, math, and physics- which is a great way to get kids into engineering.
These particular Fairyweight kits, the Turnabot Fairyweight kit series, has been designed by the Family Siegel. The Siegel family has been designing, building, battling, and developing these bots and now they’d like to share their success with you. Turnabot grew out of their enthusiasm for science and their desire to inspire others. They hope their products can be a bridge between store-bought toys and designing your own custom bot. As part of the science curriculum the Siegels developed for their kids, they started building basic robots from recycled tubs, popsicle sticks, motors, and simple circuits. This was the genesis of the Turnabot fairyweight kits, and they are now ready for you to build!
