What Is the USB Linker Programmer?
The USB Linker programmer for ESCs is a compact, plug-and-play tool for flashing and configuring brushless ESC firmware straight from your computer. It plugs directly into a standard USB-A port and connects to your ESC through a 3-pin signal header — no soldering, no separate programmer board, just plug in and go.
Build and Connections
The unit measures 2.08in (53.0mm) long and 0.70in (18.0mm) wide, and is wrapped in clear heat shrink over a green PCB, with a silver USB-A connector — no molded case, just the bare board protected and visible. On the underside, a single-row 3-pin header is clearly silkscreened GND, NC, and S (Signal), top to bottom. The middle pin is unused (No Connect) — this programmer draws its own power from your USB port and does not supply power to the ESC. You will still need to power your ESC separately, with a battery or bench supply, for it to respond during programming.
Reliable Chipset
Inside is a genuine WCH CH340G USB-to-serial chip paired with a 12MHz crystal oscillator, a well-established, reliable combination used across a huge range of hobby electronics. In our own testing on a Windows machine, it worked immediately with no driver installation required. If your computer does not recognize it automatically, installing the CH340 driver will resolve it in a couple of minutes.
Firmware Compatibility
This programmer works with BLHeli, BLHeli-S, and BLHeli-32 ESCs, as well as AM32 open-source firmware, covering the large majority of brushless ESCs used in combat robotics and RC builds today. Pair it with BLHeliSuite32 or the AM32 Multi_ESC Config Tool to read and write settings, adjust motor direction, timing, braking, stall protection, and more, all from a simple desktop interface — no separate hardware programmer or bootloader board required.
Whether you are dialing in a brand new ESC or troubleshooting an existing setup, this is the small, inexpensive tool that gets you into the settings that actually matter. Order yours from ItGresa today.

Does this work with AM32 firmware?
Yes — this programmer has been specified to work with AM32 as well as BLHeli, BLHeli-S, and BLHeli-32. Pair it with the AM32 Multi_ESC Config Tool or BLHeliSuite32 depending on which firmware your ESC runs. We have successfully tested these on AM32 ESCs.
Does this power my ESC?
No. This programmer draws its own power from your USB port, but it does not supply power to the ESC. You’ll need to power the ESC separately, with a battery or bench supply, for it to respond during programming.
Which pin is which on the header?
The 3-pin header is silkscreened directly on the board: GND, NC (No Connect — unused), and S (Signal), top to bottom when viewed from the underside with the USB plug to the left.
Do I need to install a driver?
Not necessarily — in our own testing on Windows, it worked immediately with no driver install. If your computer doesn’t recognize it automatically, installing the CH340 driver will resolve it.
