Is this a complete combat robot?
Yes! The base Viper V3 kit includes everything needed to drive—motors, speed controllers, chassis, wheels, and armor. You’ll just need a radio system and battery if you don’t already have them. Optional bundles include those as well.
What makes Viper V3 different from V2?
V3 features a redesigned baseplate with expanded mounting options, lighter and stronger front armor, Twist Hubs, reinforced motor shaft supports, upgraded ESCs, and clearer build instructions. It’s stronger, smarter, and more mod-friendly than ever.

Is the Viper good for beginners?
Absolutely. It’s designed to be approachable for newcomers while still offering expandability for advanced builders. Ages 10+ (6+ with a parent) are recommended.
What kind of batteries does it use?
It can run off a disposable 9V battery (recommended for first tests to lower risk if the bot’s wiring is incorrect), a rechargeable 9V battery, or a powerful 7.4V LiPo pack. Battery and charger bundles are available based on your needs.
Can I add a weapon later?
Yes! The Viper chassis supports add-on kits including spinners and lifters. You can start simple and scale up as you learn. Fingertech weapon kits include a horizontal spinner, a vertical spinner, a lifter, and a tail spinner.
Does it include a transmitter or receiver?
Not by default, but optional bundles include a full 6-channel radio system. If you already have a transmitter and receiver, you can buy just the base kit.
Is the Viper V3 compatible with V2 accessories?
Yes, nearly all V2 add-ons and accessories work with V3, including weapon kits and radio bundles. Just double-check motor ratios or mounting locations when mixing generations.
