The Viper vertical spinner clamping drum is a simple vertical spinner assembly for the antweight robot class. The drum rotates like Battlebots’ Minotaur or other drum-type spinners, and a pair of AR400 steel teeth maximizes the hit with enough durability to not be severely damaged on the first go.
This kit includes the drum halves, a pair of replacement AR400 Steel impactor “Teeth,” and the correct screws for the FingerTech Viper Vertical Spinner Clamping Drum Weapon.

The recommended motor to drive this weapon is the 2822/17 Brushless Outrunner 1100KV with the 4mm shaft.
Safety:
- As with anything related to combat robots, it is potentially dangerous to add a spinning weapon to a robot. Never power up the robot outside of a safety enclosure. Always use a safety lock and follow proper activation procedures.
Pro Tip: Bevel the teeth so you are hitting the opponent with a sharp edge. It will give a better bite and really send them flying!
